In just one week, David Michael Sirois' play, Secrets of the La Croix, will open on Friday, April 25, at 7 p.m. at the Main Street Playhouse, 6766 Main Street in Miami Lakes. Described as a day in the life of Roger La Croix, this day will be the worst Thanksgiving of his life.
The holiday begins to unravel faster than Roger could have ever imagined, complete with a kitchen fire, a neighbor with sticky fingers, a know-it-all-mother, a big secret, and most importantly Roger's broken television keeping him from watching the big game.
This comedic farce about the La Croix Family Thanksgiving, it isn't a holiday, it's a war… full of fun, regret, laughs, lies and cranberry sauce!
Secrets of the La Croix features talented Main Street actors Dylan Baierlein as Brad, Kristian Bikic as Kevin, Ashley Chang as Kristen, Murphy Hayes as Mickey, Fern Katz as Claire, Jordan Mauro as Theresa, Erica Mendez as Amber, Ben Sandomir as Roger, and Michael Uribe as Jeffery.
This production runs from April 25 to May 18, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors (62+), and $18 for students (with current ID) and can be purchased online or at the door. Parking is always free.
