Registration is now open for two sessions of the Main Street Players’ Children’s Theatre Workshop to be held at the Playhouse, 6766 Main Street. This year both sessions will be for children ages 7 to 12. Session one will begin on Monday, June 8 and runs through Friday, June 19. Session two will begin on Monday, July 27 and runs through Friday, August 6.

The camp will be taught by Jeannette Martos-Galup and students will develop their performance skills, learn the value of working as an ensemble and will, most importantly, have fun. Daily classes and rehearsals will be filled with movement, acting and exploration through the imagination as the students come together to perform a spectacular final performance for their families on the final Friday of each session.

Classes run daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be limited to 15 students. The cost for each session is $400 per student with a 10 percent discount available to returning students from the 2014 workshop who register before the registration deadlines. Registration deadlines are April 1 for session one and May 1 for session two.
