Main Street Players present comedy “Rapture, Blister, Burn”

     The Main Street Players will kick off their 2022 season by presenting a comedy, “Rapture, blister, burn” by Gina Gionfriddo.

      It will be the first production in the Players’ new home, at 6812 Main St. in Miami Lakes.

      Danny Nieves directs five actors in the play centered around the relationship of two college girlfriends and the paths their lives took. Who is happier? Who lived up to feminist ideals? Who gets to keep Gwen’s husband?

      The show runs from April 22 - May 15, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m.

      Tickets are $20 at the door for theater league members; $25 for students/seniors/military and $40 general admission.
