The Main Street Players theatre troupe will debut its latest production Secrets of the La Croix on Friday, April 25, at 8 p.m.at the playhouse located at 6766 Main Street. Award winning author and Carbonell nominee David Michael Sirois’ play is about a day in the life of Roger La Croix…that day being the worst Thanksgiving of his life.
The day begins with a broken television that keeps Roger from watching the big game, and when his son comes home from school and reveals a big secret…chaos ensues. From dealing with a crazy old neighbor stealing remotes to the kitchen fire, the La Croix family Thanksgiving dinner quickly unravels.
Full of fun, regret, laughs, lies and cranberry sauce...this comedic farce about the La Croix family Thanksgiving, it isn't a holiday...it's a war. The La Croix family actors include Dylan Baierlein, Kristian Bikic, Fern Katz, Jordan Mauro, Erica Mendez and Ben Sandomir.
Theater patrons should be aware that tickets for the original run of this show sold out quickly. This production runs from April 25 to May 18, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors (62+), and $18 for students (current ID) and can be purchased online or at the door.
