Mater Lakes’ Sally Lu places in HOSA meet

Mater Lakes Academy’s Health Occupation Students of America group recently competed in the 40th annual HOSA State Leadership conference in Orlando, where Sally Lu (pictured above) earned second place in the Knowledge Test and is headed to the national conference this summer in Washington D.C. HOSA is partnered with STEM Premier to provide members with the opportunity to apply for college scholarships for students who are seeking careers in audiologist, pharmacies, dental hygienist, nurse, allied health, physical therapist, nuclear medicine and occupational therapist.
