Miami Dade College North Campus offers mini-terms, financial aid

It’s not too late to attend Miami Dade College this semester.

The North Campus is offering accelerated courses of just eight weeks, beginning Oct. 26.

The college has financial aid, scholarships and stipends available, too.

Students who register by Oct. 25 may qualify for free, in-state tuition and fees for up to 12 credits or get up to $100 off per credit.

Tuition discounts are calculated after all other funds are applied or made available, the school said.

“North Campus is a major contributor to workforce development in our community, and we’re pleased to offer the incentive as a means of extending educational and training opportunities to all,” Dr. Malou C. Harrison, president of the North Campus, said in a press statement.

Miami Dade College offers more than 300 paths to bachelor’s degrees and an associate degree in arts and science.

There are also credit certificates in growing employment sectors which include criminal justice, graphic design, cyber security, digital marketing, supply chain management, information systems technology and many more.

The college reopened its campuses on Sept. 28, while observing classroom capacity limits and strict social distancing guidelines, the school said.

To register or for more information, call Alexis at 305-237-1200 or email NNSC@mdc.edu.
