Miami Lakes Bar Association installs new leaders

     The Miami Lakes Bar Association swore in its new board of directors on Feb. 2 at Miami Lakes Town Hall. 11th Circuit Court Judge Diana Vizcaino, who resides in Miami Lakes, administered the oaths. Mirelis Castilla of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP was named 2024 board president. Among 60 guests at the ceremony were Miami-Dade County Commissioner Sen. René Garcia and Cuban American Bar Association President Javier Ley-Soto, several judges, educators from St. Thomas University and Pastor Ivan Rodriguez of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, who gave the invocation.
