The Miami Lakes Duplicate Bridge Club is ready to resume play!

The club was on hiatus because of social gathering restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic.

It is inviting new members to join three-hour sessions on game days which will be scheduled once the number of players are known to club Treasurer John W. Baron, Jr. and President David Oliver.

The club first began play in the 1970s and is one of the oldest social clubs in town, Oliver and Baron said.

A goal is for the club to become sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League, Oliver said.

With a core group of long-time players as mentors, new members will quickly learn the rules that govern play and the club, Baron said.

For more information call Baron at 305-710-5752 or Oliver at 305-822-9680.
