Miami Lakes pays tribute to Pizza Scene

     The Town of Miami Lakes honored the Rodriguez family, owners of the 18-year-old Pizza Scene restaurant on Main Street. Mayor Manny Cid presented a proclamation to the family for the longevity of their enterprise and for supporting the community and schools in town. Cid named Aug. 12 as “Pizza Scene Day.” 

     “We are super grateful and blessed to be here,” Gloria Rodriguez said. The storefront expanded along Main Street in December 2022. The owners of the family-run business have the second generation of Rodriguezes making pies and doling out slices and hope the third generation can continue what they started. WPLG-Ch.10 recently recognized the pizza place for having zero violations during a state restaurant inspection.
