It’s that time of year: Miami Spice is back, through Sept. 30.

Shula’s 2 Steak & Sports is among the 185 restaurants in Miami-Dade County that are participating this year, and it’s the only dining spot in Miami Lakes where you can get the deal.

“We are excited to offer the Miami Spice menu to our customers,” said Bruce Lawrence, general manager at Shula’s Steak 2.

The sports bar’s three course dinner menu is $42 per person and offers several options for food and drink, which will be offered at any hour a may customer request it.

This year it partnered with bourbon maker Wood- ford Reserve and vintner DAOU Vineyards; an Old Fashioned cocktail or glass of Cabernet Sauvignon may be added to a meal for $13 each, Lawrence said.

For the first course, diners may choose from classic salads: An iceberg wedge or Caesar.

French onion soup is available for an additional $5.

Second course choices are organic chicken breast; daily market fresh fish with shrimp scampi; a six-ounce premium Black Angus filet mignon or blackened tenderloin tips.

A Black Angus ribeye steak is an additional $7. All entrees are served with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables.

There is Key Lime pie, New York-style cheesecake or white chocolate bread pudding for dessert.

To make a reservation at the restaurant, at 6842 Main St. in Miami Lakes, call 305-820-8047 or visit their website.
