Known for its burgers, chicken zingers and wings, Miller’s Ale House will offer special menu items during the March Madness college basketball tournament and St. Patrick’s Day.
Corned beef brisket, Irish Egg Rolls (an egg roll wrapped with Corned beef, sauerkraut and bistro sauce) and Guinness Stout will celebrate the holiday.
“We’re really big on St. Patrick’s,” said Shelley Nunez, general manager of the Miami Lakes location.
The items will be offered not just one day, but from March 9 – April 12.
Also new and already available: their “Fully Queso’d” line.
It includes a bacon cheeseburger served in a skillet of spicy chorizo corn queso, with pico de gallo for dipping; a chicken bacon Ranch sandwich, also presented in a skillet with Ranch queso, and Sports Bar Nachos with smoked BBQ chicken, chorizo roasted corn queso, melted Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses on top of fresh corn tortilla chips, with jalapenos, pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream.
The restaurant chain earned bragging rights last August when it won USA Today’s Best Sports Bar in the national newspaper’s Reader’s Choice Awards.
Nunez says it’s a welcoming and convenient destination for customers.
“We try to make sure everyone has a great experience,” she said of the restaurant at 15251 NW. 67th Ave.
The Miller’s Ale House in town is one of 116 locations across the United States; of the seven in South Florida, Miami Lakes is the sales leader, she said.
“We’re also open late, from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and have a lot of beers to choose from,” she said about its popularity.
The family-friendly place features a large bar, booths and scores of TVs. Windows and a front porch are open when the weather is nice.
The Reader’s Choice Awards results mentioned how the 37-year-old business has been “showcasing the wide range of craft beers found across the country,” and its variety of offerings, from bar food to steak dinners.
