Streetside Manifesto, the youth band of New Testament Baptist Church in northwest Miami-Dade, and known in the local community as a cover worship band, are led by worship directors Stefanie Metellus and Jessica Barrera (authors of the songs “Til You” and “Holy You Are”).

The band is comprised of a variety of musicians and vocalists that lead worship in two different services held each week at New Testament Baptist Church and Dade Christian School. Having performed at the Reload Conference, God Belongs in My City, Miami Rescue Mission and other local churches, the team made one event that brought all their fans together which was the recording of their live EP on Friday, July 11.

Fans came from all over South Florida to share in an incredible night of worship at Italy Today on Main Street. Jonas Maldonado led the night, backed up by  Metellus, Jordan Rosado on drums, Neal Buranday on bass, Barrera on the electric guitar and Marco Hernandez on the keys.

The first set started with a modernized hymn cover, “All Creatures of Our God and King” by Kings Kaleidoscope, and “Alive” by Hillsong Young and Free. The mood in the room changed as they transitioned into two original songs: “Where You Found Me” and “Til You”. Metellus led the final song in the set, where they played “Alive” by Kim Walker.

The night concluded with people standing for the encore and hanging out afterwards. What marks Streetside Manifesto from other worship bands is their passion for Jesus and their youth group.
