New Testament's Youth Ministry students visit Joe DiMaggio Hospital

The 4:12 students strike again! Students from the youth ministry 4:12 of New Testament Baptist Church (NTBC) were given an opportunity to visit Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital to bring joy and hope to the patients currently going through some difficult times in their lives.

For the past couple of months, 4:12 has been searching out ways to make a difference in the community. From painting buildings to serving in at risk communities, 4:12 desires to send students out into the world to make an impact.

This particular event was inspired by Jocelyn Bermudez, a senior at Dade Christian and it was unlike any of the other events done before. Students visited with compassionate hearts to hang out with a handful of young patients.

The group really brought laughter and joy to the patients with game time, designing bandanas, magic tricks and performing a couple of funny skits. They also took the time to get to know the children to offer support in a time of need.

We intend to do more in the community throughout the year and can’t wait to share more stories about what God is doing in the lives of our students at NTBC.
