 The town and its Economic Development Committee are accepting nominations for the 9th Annual Best of Miami Lakes Awards for businesses in nine categories until Sept. 19. 

     There are new, expanded categories for the competition in 2025:

-Best Happy Hour; 

-Best Cup of Coffee; 

-Best Financial; 

-Best Legal; 

-Best Real Estate; 

-Best Other Professional Services; 

-Best Lunch Spot; 

-Best Dinner Spot; 

-Best Retail; 

-Best Beauty; 

-Best Health Provider; 

-Best Fitness and 

-Best Home Services.
