The Miami Lakes Office Center has two large buildings on Northwest 153rd Street where Northwest 60th Avenue curves on the east side of town.
Built between 1971 and 1983, the complex has green tiled roofs and a yellow exterior. It’s owned by Miami Lakes Office Center Inc., county records show.
The Adler Group leasing company advertises rentals for the buildings and according to its website, two units are available: One with 1,335 square feet, and another at 221 square feet.
Event Max, located in the 6001 building, provides party rentals and coordinates events. Sales Representative Maria Blanco said the company moved into its office in January but have had space in the office park for several years.
“We [have] always been in this area, our warehouse is really close to this office,” Blanco said.
Like many other businesses, the convenience to surrounding highways is great, but the easy access for employees and customers is also a draw.
“I like that there is no traffic and it’s really easy to get here,” Blanco said. “It’s really quiet [too].”
Clients are mainly from Miami-Dade County, but the company also stage parties in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Blanco says Event Max rents bounce houses, food stands and carnival games and other attractions to customers in cities surrounding Miami Lakes.
“It’s the perfect location,” Blanco said.
Other tenants in the Office Center provide health services. Trinity CMHC offers behavioral counseling; Martin Medical Services and Solutions law firm; Meré Moore Beauty & Aesthetics; Ki’Aesthetics Beauty and Body Lounge; Renascence Therapy Center Inc. speech and physical therapy; three Primerica offices offering insurance and KidSpace Therapy Center, a speech and physical therapy center.
