Monsignor Edward Pace High School’s Anglers Club is hosting its sixth annual Spartan Fishing Tournament at the La Siesta Resort & Marina in Islamorada in the Florida Keys on Friday, August 22, and Saturday, August 23. The multi-species tournament will have inshore and offshore teams, and participants can register as individuals or as teams on either a guided boat or the participant’s own boat.

The money raised at the tournament goes toward the Spartans-4-Spartan Program, which helps families cover education expenses during times of financial hardship, and the Anglers Club at Pace which brings students, parents and professionals together to share a passion for fishing and learn about our resources.

Registration forms can be mailed, faxed, emailed or dropped off in person at the Pace campus. For more information call 305-623-7223, email Anglers Club moderator Scott Giberson at sgiberson@pacehs.com, or visit the tournament’s website at http://paceanglersclub.com/Pace_Anglers_Club/Tournament.html.
