Monsignor Edward Pace High School is offering new dual enrollment courses beginning next school year for students entering junior and senior years. Students enrolled in general or honors levels of English now have the opportunity to earn dual enrollment credits through Florida International University and St. Thomas University. While Pace has always offered dual enrollment courses in various subjects, specific requirements were in place, thereby minimizing the list of candidates for credits.

Opening fall 2014, nearly three times the number of students can enroll in dual enrollment courses for college credit in the equivalent of English Composition college courses. Currently, over 60 students entering junior and senior years as general and honors level students will earn college credit. These college credits are transferable to all state colleges and universities and serve as motivation for students to continue pursuing a post-secondary education.
