Monsignor Edward Pace High School returns to La Siesta Resort & Marina in Islamorada for its 7th Annual Spartan Fishing Tournament on August 28 and 29.
Inshore and offshore teams will compete in this multi-species tournament hosted by Pace’s Anglers Club, with proceeds benefiting both the club and the Spartans-4-Spartans program which aids students whose families suffer financial crises.
Participants, which include Pace alumni, students, friends and family, can register as individuals or with a team using a personal or guided boat. Over 140 anglers competed in 30 teams in last year’s tournament, the biggest turnout in the tournament’s history.
