“Chiki is very playful and happy,” Mayda Blanco said. “She likes strolls in Veterans Park and barking at the cows along Commerce Way.”
Blanco said she is surprised at how the dairy cows seem to be afraid of her little dog.
As for Misolucky, she was a kitten when Blanco rescued her.
“Her mother had abandoned her in our neighborhood so we took her in,” Blanco said.
Misolucky enjoys watching the world go by from a windowsill inside their house.
“She gets along with Chiki but is overall a shy kitty,” said Blanco, who took the photos.
