Who has more holiday spirit than Toby, 3, a Golden Retriever from Miami Lakes?
Toby lives with Melissa and Luis Martinez and their baby girl Emma, 8 months.
Residents may have seen the 105-pound boy at Town Hall, where he has visited his “uncle,” Deputy Town Clerk Alexis Martinez.
And he is a perfect “big brother” to Emma.
“He really does want to play a lot with the baby,” Melissa Martinez said. Then again, “He may just be trying to steal her toys.”
Everyone knows Toby in his east side neighborhood, but he’s perhaps happiest at home, cuddling and watching TV with the baby.
“He’s family, a source of unconditional love, laughter and comfort,” Martinez said.
