Romeo is a 5-month-old, 7-pound heartthrob who is living the full puppy dream, Marcia Chaviano said.
“He’s chewing everything that isn’t nailed down, turning plush toys into confetti and generally keeping me on my toes,” Chaviano said about the latest addition to her Miami Lakes home.
Also on high alert in the household: Joy, a 7-year-old Schnauzer who got there first.
“She’d run for a cookie, but other than that she likes to eat, sleep and be left alone,” Chaviano said.
Romeo is a combination of poodle and Schnauzer, or Schnoodle. His owner says he’s a genius in a fur coat because he was house-broken in just four days.
Joy is very patient with Romeo, and will let him jump on her or nibble her ear, and will play with toys with him.
Chaviano enjoys watching the pair on home security videos that record Joy as she sits still in the middle of a room. If you don’t blink, you’ll see
Romeo, a black blur racing past and around her in circles.
