Meet Casper! He is a 9-year-old “Chug,” a mix of the Chihuahua and Pug breeds.
He lives in the Anchorage development with Jair Nuño and Tania Nuño and their children Oscar, 5 and Thais, 3.
The Nuño family adopted Casper as a puppy from a breeder. He was recently diagnosed with diabetes and “tolerates his insulin injections well,” Jair Nuño said.
“He loves to walk around the neighborhood,” Nuño said. “He gets along with everybody. He never growls. He’s just the sweetest animal.”
Though the family has to watch Casper’s diet, when he is a good boy, Thais may give him a Greenie treat.
“He’s a very playful and calm individual,” Jair Nuño said. “We couldn’t be any happier with him.”
