Pills Plus, Inc., a pharmacy service first established in Miami Lakes at 7801 N.W. 146 Street in mid-2009, is celebrating the recent accomplishment of pharmacy owner, Ines Gomez, who received her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University.
Gomez first received her bachelors of science in Paralegal Studies from Nova Southeastern University and in addition to owning Pills Plus Pharmacy, run by her mother Rosario Lopez as general manager. Gomez also works at the law office of Brown Robert LLP as a paralegal working on business litigation, intellectual property, real estate and various corporate matters.
Gomez plans to practice family law.
“I am very proud of her and the accomplishments she has achieved at her age,” said Lopez. “The whole family and pharmacy staff are also very proud of her.”
Family, friends, and pharmacy staff celebrated Gomez at a party held on Saturday, December 20 at The Shula’s Hotel.
Pills Plus, Inc. provides pharmaceutical medications, medical equipment and supplies in addition to providing free delivery service. The pharmacy, which offers specialty medications, scooters, power chairs, injectables, home health care supplies, diabetic medications, psychiatric medication and pharmaceutical counseling, accepts both HMO and PPO insurances.
