Starting Friday, June 26, the Town’s Friday Board Game nights will now run from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. every other Friday through the summer months at Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
A few new games also being introduced include Jumbo Checkers and Tic Tac Toe boards, Jumbo Dominoes, and Jumbo Jenga!
Barefoot Board Gaming, sponsored by the Youth Activities Task Force, offers a friendly environment that encourages social interaction in a non-digital format between family and friends. The goal is to bring Miami Lakes residents together using board games to create a fun and whimsical atmosphere that encourages positive social exchanges.
The summer Board Game nights include June 26, July 10 and July 24.
