Popular Ice Cream Social returns on Saturday, July 20

Beating the summer heat has never been so sweet at Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force hosts the 3rd annual Ice Cream Social from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday July 20, at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
The free event is sponsored by Miami Lakes Auto Mall and includes fun activities for the whole family including food trucks, face painting, a rock climbing wall, music and free ice cream from Coldstone and Frosty’s Lab.
Parents interested in signing up their children for one or more of the Town’s youth programs can also visit an Open House on the same day at the Mary Collins Community Center in Park West from 9 to 11 a.m.
Some of the youth programs include Archery, Ballet, Jazz, Piano, Martial Arts, Just Run, Code Explorers, Bricks4Kidz, Start Smart, Youth Yoga, Optimist Sports, MLU Soccer and YMCA’s After School Care.
