Postcards

        The Cabrera family of Miami Lakes -- Jesus, Annette and daughters Lauren Grace, 10, at left, and Lily Joy, 5 -- returned to France in March for spring break. The family also visited that country in 2023. 

     The girls are holding a copy of their favorite community newspaper while posing for their father’s camera. This shot was taken in the inner courtyard of the Palais-Royal, a former palace. It is in the center of Paris near the Louvre Museum and dates from the 17th century. Behind the sisters is one of the two Sphérades, steel fountain sculptures by Pol Bury that were placed in the courtyard in 1985.
