Postcards

     Elsa Reus, of Hialeah Gardens, vice chair of the Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee, is a world traveler. Since 2024, she has taken a Seine River cruise from Brittany to Paris in France, and in 2025 celebrated her birthday in England, Wales and Scotland.

     In December, she journeyed to Vatican City in Italy for the Jubilee, a year-long event for Catholic pilgrims. 

     Like many visitors to the Holy See, Reus carried flags to display during the Papal Blessing that Pope Leo does for the crowd in Saint Peter’s Square each Wednesday. In her case, the banners were from Cuba and the United States.
