The Palm Springs North 8-and-7-under Little Giants recently won the South Florida All-Star Alliance Summer tournament in West Kendall, and the team finished in second place in the league’s other tournament in Hialeah Gardens. Each summer, the Alliance picks teams from different recreational parks and allows them to compete against others to determine the best team during a series of Summer tournaments. Raul Billini, the Little Giants coach, is a Miami Lakes resident.
