The Town of Miami Lakes is inviting residents to join in the annual Arbor Day celebration at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 25, at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
The event will feature a tree planting ceremony, information and educational materials for residents, as well as tree care demonstrations by the town’s Arborist.
Miami Lakes is a “Tree City USA” and is recognized for its outstanding care of trees throughout the town, which extends from town parks to pocket parks and neighborhood streets.
