Respect Life Ministry hosts annual benefit luncheon on Sept. 12

Miami Lakes based non-profit, Respect Life Ministry Pregnancy Help Center, will host its third annual luncheon fundraiser on Saturday, September 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel, 7707 N.W. 103 Street in Hialeah Gardens.

The fundraiser is open to the public and tickets can be purchased by calling the center at 786-452-0266 or 305-653-2921. Tickets are $35. All proceeds from the event will benefit the North Dade Pregnancy Centers.

The fundraiser will feature a special guest speaker, Mother Adela Galindo, founder of The Servants of the Pierced Heart of Jesus and Mary. The luncheon will also have a Chinese auction, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, and a door prize that offers each attendee a chance to win.

Respect Life Ministry provides financial, emotional and spiritual assistance to those involved in a crisis pregnancy. The non-profit, which is made up almost entirely of volunteers, provides services to parents with infants up to 12 months old, pregnant mothers and offers post-abortion counseling programs for women of any age and programs for fathers.

The center also provides free pregnancy tests, breast feeding courses, limited ultrasounds, counseling, and opportunities for parents to earn necessities like diapers, clothing bassinets, cribs, walkers, strollers, and more while they learn the basics of childcare and parenthood through classes. Additionally, pregnancy planning and adoption planning are offered.

The Respect Life Ministry Pregnancy Help Center is located at 5801 N.W. 151 Street, Suite 302, in the Villagio in the Lakes Plaza. Appointments are available, walk-ins are welcome. All information received at the center is kept confidential only disclosed as required by law.
