The South Florida ABA Center celebrated its opening in Business Park West with a ribbon cutting on July 15. The Miami Lakes business provides early intervention therapy services for people with autism spectrum disorder and their loved ones.

“I am hoping to support families in need, with special needs children, so we can go ahead together and raise these children like a village,” owner Christina Machado said during the ceremony.

“It’s great to see young business owners…I know how important this field is to the local community,” Councilman Bryan Morera said.

The center is at 14125 NW 80th Ave.
