In late April, Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho, joined by School Board members and School for Advanced Studies students (SAS), hosted an academic signing ceremony to recognize the 58 percent of SAS graduates heading to Top 50 U.S. colleges including all Ivy League schools.

Of the 58 percent accepted into the Top 50 U.S. colleges, 18 students were accepted into the eight Ivy League schools. Additionally, 98 percent of the class of 2015 earned their Associate in Arts degree. All 167 seniors from the school’s Wolfson, Kendall, North and Homestead campuses were present at the signing.
