Christine Balmori was walking her wire-hair Terrier mix Peanut around Lake Patricia in Miami Lakes on the morning of June 16 when she visited the resident waterfowl: An egret and non-native Egyptian Geese and their goslings.
“When we get to the beach, there is always something going on there and I zoom in and take pictures,” Balmori said. She used her Apple iPhone 13 without a filter to record the geese, which like to nest in trees near the lake, she said.
