Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee will host the 10th annual Senior Games Track and Field events on Saturday, April 9, at Dade Christian School, 6601 N.W. 167 Street.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the games starting at 9 a.m.
Track and field events include 100 Meter Dash, Shot Put, Discus, Archery, Horseshoes, Standing Broad Jump, 400 Meter Run, Soccer Accuracy Kick, and 800 Meter Race.
First, second and third place winners in each age group (male and female) will receive medals and every participant will receive a 2016 Senior Games T-Shirt.
The remaining 2016 Senior Games include a Duplicate Bridge Tournament on June 6 at Mary Collins Community Center, and a Basketball Game on August 27 at Shula’s Athletic Club.
