Miami Lakes and its Special Needs Advisory Board have created a registry with Miami-Dade Police for residents with mental or emotional disabilities.
Children and adults may enroll in the program.
Applications are available online. Leave the form in an envelope at the Miami Lakes Police Office, 6601 Main St., Miami Lakes, FL 33014, attn. Officer Robin Amador, or mail it there.
