Michael Owens was the first person to move in to the new South Pointe Apartments in Miami Lakes, settling in on Jan. 8.
“The Graham Companies deliver an excellent, quality product,” said Owens, 61. He previously lived in the company’s Residences at Lakehouse, across Commerce Way.
South Pointe has retail spaces on the first floor and 179 apartments; a gym; pool; views of Graham Dairy Lake and a business center for residents like
Owens who work remotely.
“This is central to my South Florida territory,” said Owens, a regional sales director for a fragrance distribution firm about why he chose Miami Lakes.
Among the amenities that drew him to the community are free parking, planned electric vehicle charging stations and discounted membership to the Miami Lakes Athletic Club. His home has high ceilings and a washer and dryer. It faces south and is filled with light.
“The staff is excellent ... everyone is exceptional at this company,” Owens said. “That was another factor for me moving here.”
