Spanish Lake Elementary holds End of Year ceremony

Education Tuesday, June 2, 2015

As the school year draws to a close, Spanish Lake Elementary (SLE) is celebrating the year’s accomplishments. End of the Year award ceremonies are held for each grade level and all parents are invited to attend to witness as each child is honored.

Grade five students enjoy a beautiful promotion ceremony followed with a banquet and dance as they prepare to leave their elementary years behind. All grade levels enjoy field trips and clubs enjoy events. For three days, the art department hosts an  Art Fair in the media center featuring art created by SLE students.

The music department hosted the first evening production to a full audience titled SLE’s Got Talent. Preceding the event, principal Jacqueline Arias-Gonzalez hosted a Dessert Reception to honor the school’s Dade Partners and PTA Board Members who have worked and contributed to SLE’s educational success.

A well-rounded summer camp will be held at SLE during the summer and parents are encouraged to register new students entering SLE as soon as possible in order to have all registration forms completed. For more information contact the school office at 306-816-0300.
