St. Thomas University senior guard Jamesha Willis has been named a 2015-2016 NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Honorable Mention All-American.

The 5-7 guard from Palatka, Florida, was earlier named the Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Year and a First-Team All-Conference selection.

Willis led the team in scoring with 14.5 points per game, assists (59), defensive rebounds with 120, and steals (69) in 2015-16.

Willis scored in double figures 16 times, including a career-high 33 points against Florida Memorial University.

Willis' inclusion as an Honorable-Mention NAIA All-American selection marks the second straight year that a St. Thomas University Women's Basketball player has been honored in the postseason nationally. Last year, STU's Dannisha Pierce was named a Third-Team NAIA Division II All-American.
