First Tee Miami 

June 10 to Aug. 9 

Ages 7 to 16

All abilities welcome to learn and hone skills at First Tee Miami’s summer golf camp. Weekdays 8:45 a.m. - 3 p.m., no camp July 4th and 5th. $395 per week, $275 per week for Miami Lakes residents with proof of residency or children of first responders. Camp Y Run by the YMCA

June 10 to Aug. 2 

Ages 4 to 12

Enjoy dance, soccer, enrichment activities and get support while learning core subjects such as math, reading and science. $50 to register and $135 per week for residents of Miami Lakes, $162 per week for non-residents. Children’s Theater Workshop

Vacation Bible School The Great Jungle Journey 

June 10 to June 14 

Kidergarten to fifth grade 

Enjoy games, bible exploring, music and crafts at this afternoon camp. Snacks are provided and volunteer opportunities available for high school students. $25 per child for the week. Miami Lakes Athletic Club 

Summer and Tennis Camps 

June 10 to Aug. 9 

Ages 5 to 13 

Kids may choose between two camps at the Miami Lakes Athletic Club. Tennis camp provides daily practice for tennis skills; sports camp kids can enjoy movies, cooking, a color run and other fun activities. Prices vary. Both camps have a $45 registration fee. My Gym Summer Camp

Ages 3 to 9

ALM Camps 

June 10 to Aug. 16 

Ages 5 to 14 

Kids can enjoy a variety of activities at this daily camp, with both full and half camp days available. ALM also offers specialized sports camps for soccer, basketball, cheerleading, flag football and dance at the same location. Prices vary for different camps. The Growing Place 

June 10 to Aug. 2 

Pre-Kindergarten to 3rd grade (can be starting or leaving 3rd grade) 

Camp offers outdoor sports, arts and crafts, water day and indoor activities. Campers will need to bring lunch, and snacks will be provided throughout the day. Full day camp is $150 per week and half day camp is $140 per week. Registration is $100.

Snapology at Miami Lakes Youth Center 

June 17 to Aug. 9 

Ages 5 to 12 

Work on crucial thinking, creativity and teamwork skills at this science, technology, engineering and math camp. Kids will build their own robots and pinball machines and work on creating bumper cars and a rollercoaster. Camps are four or five days a week: half day is 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., full day is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prices vary. Camp Wannado at Miami Lakes Optimist Park 

June 17 to Aug. 2 

Ages 4 to 12

Kids can do a variety of activities such as arts and crafts; water day; cooking; video games and field trips. Camp is held Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is no camp on June 19, July 4 and July 5. Registration is $35. Camp shirts are $20, cash only. Cost is $145 per week, per child.
