The season of lent begins on Wednesday, March 1 with Ash Wednesday. Sunrise Presbyterian Church, 18400 N.W. 68 Ave, will begin the season with a soup and bread meal at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall on Ash Wednesday. The service with the imposition of ashes will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
