Miami Lakes Youth Center “The Spot” announced a full lineup of activities during April.
Friday, April 8 – Friday Night Lights: Baseball Edition - To celebrate Major League Baseball’s opening day, dress up in favorite team’s apparel and compete in full baseball trivia and Wii U Baseball.
Wednesday, April 13 Board Game Night – It’s National Scrabble Day! Choose from a wide array of board games.
Saturday, April 16 – Nailing the Interview Workshop – A Professional Development Workshop aimed at preparing teens for first time employment by learning how to write an effective and powerful resume in preparation for the upcoming Student Job Fair on April 30.
Friday, April 22 – Movie Night featuring Jurassic World. (PG-13 movies require parent consent form prior to participating.)
Wednesday, April 27 – Battle of the Bands: Rock Band 4 Edition – Rock out with friends on Rock Band 4 for Xbox One. Teams of 3 (drummer, singer and guitarist) will compete to set the highest scores.
