Town Council changes meeting schedule

     In recent years the Miami Lakes town council would meet on the second Tuesday of each month.

     During 2025, regular council meetings will instead happen on the third Tuesday for the first 11 months, with a recess in December.  

     Budget hearings will be scheduled separately and will happen in September.

     The change was done to avoid conflicts with holidays, Town Manager Edward Pidermann said. 

     The meetings usually begin at 6:30 p.m. The dates are: Jan. 21; Feb. 18; March 18; April 15; May 20; June 17; July 15; Aug. 19; Sept. 16; Oct. 21 and Nov. 18.
