The Town of Miami Lakes is home to the largest cluster of health and life science-related businesses in Miami-Dade County.

On December 10, the Town partnered with the Beacon Council to host their Life Sciences and Healthcare Committee meeting in Council Chambers at Town Hall. Several of Miami Lake’ life sciences companies were represented at the meeting including Merck, HeartWare, and Nutri-Force Nutrition.

The meeting was followed by a bus tour of the town’s life science cluster using one of the Moover buses. Attendees also toured Nutri-Force Nutrition which employs over 600 people and is the recognized cGMP leader in providing custom manufacturing and private labeling of vitamins, dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, nutritional sports supplements, and other health related products.
