A Candidate Forum for the November 4 General Election will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 8, at Miami Lakes Government Center, 6601 Main Street. Town Council Seats 2, 4 and 6 are up for reelection.
Councilmembers Tim Daubert (Seat 2) and Frank Mingo (Seat 4) may attend the Forum but will not be participating as they are unopposed for their Council seats and are elected to a four-year term.
Councilmember Ceasar Mestre, incumbent of Council Seat 6, and his opponent, Xiomara Pazos, will participate in the Forum.
Katy Sorenson from The Good Government Initiative will serve as moderator. Questions may be submitted to info@goodgov.net and are due by Friday, October 3.
The Candidate Forum will be streamed live on the Town’s website at www.miamilakes-fl.gov, and the video will be available thereafter.
