Vice Mayor Manny Cid, Councilmembers Tim Daubert, Tony Lama, Ceasar Mestre and Nelson Rodriguez, along with Margaret Slaton, wife of Mayor Wayne Slaton, read books to more than 20 children during National Library Week at the Miami Lakes Branch Library. National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and held every April at libraries across the country to celebrate the contributions of libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support.
