The Miami Lakes community is invited to join elected officials as they celebrate the 15th year Anniversary of the Town of Miami Lakes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, at Miami Lakes Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
The fun-filled event for the whole family will feature live entertainment, food trucks, carnival rides, a petting zoo, skating rink and more.
Councilmember Frank Mingo is teaming up with the town’s Youth Activities Task Force to ensure a happy holiday season for children in need. The event, activities, and rides are free, but event organizers are encouraging residents to bring unwrapped toys to be donated to His House Children’s Home.
The event is sponsored in part of The Graham Companies, GreenSource Landscape & Sports Turf, Gestido Construction, LLC, SFM, Baptist Health, and Miami Lakes Auto Mall. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
