For the second time this year, Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force and Economic Development Committee will host a Student Job Fair for high school and college students from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 15, at Roberto Alonso Community Center, 16500 N.W. 87 Avenue, in Miami Lakes.
Over 30 local businesses participated in the first event with more than 100 students attending, many of which were hired.
The Town of Miami Lakes encourages the local business community to participate in this free opportunity to meet potential interns and/or future employees.
Space is limited and registration is required. Employers who are interested in participating are asked to submit the registration form by Friday, September 20. The form can be found online at www.miamilakes-f.gov/bizresources.
