Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee is hosting a Concert in the Park at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, at Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
The free jazz concert, originally scheduled as the Concert on the Fairway on November 22 but canceled due to inclement weather, features the renowned talent of Michael Whitehead and the Final Countdown Band. Whitehead and his bands have been performing from Chicago to Key West, entertaining thousands of fans for more than 10 years.
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and continues to 10 p.m. Attendees are advised to bring blankets, picnic baskets, friends and family for an evening of relaxing music under the stars.
