Spearheaded by Councilmember Frank Mingo, Miami Lakes hosted a toy drive benefiting His House Children’s Home. Thanks to local donations, Miami Lakes representatives (from left) Mayor Michael Pizzi, Mingo, Youth Activities Task Force chair Lynn Matos, Vice Mayor Tim Daubert and Councilmembers Ceasar Mestre and Nelson Rodriguez delivered over 200 gifts to children in need. His House Children’s Home is a private, faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to restoring joy to the lives of children from newborn to 18 years of age.
