Jan. 12 Bingo Luncheon It was scheduled to be held at Roberto Alonso Community Center in Miami Lakes but the event is changed because of the pandemic. Seniors who registered will be able to attend the drive-thru Bingo Luncheon at Giordano’s Gourmet Salads, 8008 NW 154 St., Miami Lakes. Box lunches will be handed out that contain two sandwiches, a salad and an Ambrosia salad for dessert, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Register at www.toml.eventbrite.com. Jan. 28 Ms. Senior Miami Lakes Competition The Elderly Affairs Committee will continue to accept applications for Ms. Senior Miami Lakes Competition until Jan. 28. The contest is open to women ages 60 and above in town and will take place on Feb. 13. Applications may be obtained through Committee Chair Dottie Wix, at 305-331-3895.
